Atad Developments & Medical Services Ltd was founded by Dr. Jack Atad (CEO) in 1994 (Company Registration No 511085425). The company is dealing with the development and marketing of new medical devices in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The main development interest of the company is in resolving the problem of labor induction in women with unfavorable cervical conditions. The different types of Pre-Induction Cervical Dilators (PICD) were developed for this purpose, registered as US patent (pat. No 4,976,692) and are available in the market.
The PICD are produced by Willy Rusch GmbH (Kernen, Germany). Type2 and type3 PICD have been approved by the CE (for the common European market) and by TGA (for the Australian market).Type 1 PICD is designated for the US market (K040625).

Multiple clinical studies have shown the safety and efficacy of the double balloon devices in producing cervical dilatation and inducing labor to women with unfavorable cervical conditions. Up to date thousands of women underwent labor induction using the double balloon devices with excellent results published in the literature.

Dr. Jack Atad is an obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience. He has served as the head of the Gyne-Oncology Division at the Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. He developed the Pre-Induction Cervical Dilator - PICDs and performed many of the Induction of Labor studies during his tenure there.
To date, thousands of women with unfavorable cervical conditions have undergone IOL using the PICDs double balloon devices with excellent results.
Dr. Atad has published his results in a number of professional journals and has presented his findings at international conferences.

Albert Benavi (Vice President Finance)

Albert BENAVI (1941) Vice President Finance holds a business administration degree, H.E.C., from Lausanne University, Switzerland.
Albert worked for Leading Corporations in international trading of commodities in Geneva, for 15 years as Director of logistics, corporate finance and banking departments.
He spent rest of his professional career as marketer - Assets manager for a Swiss bank (U.B.P. - Union Bancaire Privee).
He then opened in 1999, the Tel Aviv branch of U.B.P. where he held the position of General Manager.
Since 2004 he is Vice President Finance of ATAD DEVELOPMENTS L.T.D.

Present Position: In-Charge of National Sales & marketing of company products in Israel and Business development.
